Donny the Sad Clown

ICE: Fighting Fire With Deportations

Only in Donny’s America could two firefighters battling a raging wildfire be yanked off the frontlines, not because they were injured, not because they were exhausted, but because ICE had paperwork to serve.

Yes, while the Bear Gulch wildfire in Washington state ripped through homes and forests, ICE agents decided the real emergency wasn’t the flames threatening lives and property — it was two immigrant firefighters helping to put them out. Nothing says “competent government” quite like arresting the people saving your communities.

Senator Patty Murray summed it up best: this policy is “fundamentally sick.” Which is Senator-speak for: Are you out of your fucking minds?

This isn’t an isolated “oops.” It’s the same cruelty playbook we’ve seen over and over again: ICE lurking in courthouses, pouncing at hospitals, detaining people at their own immigration hearings.

And of course, Donny’s crew brags about the numbers like it’s some twisted competition: over 2,200 arrests in a single day. ICE isn’t just enforcing immigration law anymore; they’re gunning for the Guinness World Record in human misery.

So here’s the Trump administration’s hierarchy of emergencies, laid bare:

  1. Immigrants.
  2. Immigrants.
  3. Everything else, including wildfires that are literally burning down American homes.

Wildfires destroy communities. ICE destroys trust. And together, they make an unstoppable inferno of incompetence and cruelty.

Donny Fires CDC Chief Susan Monarez for Standing Up for Science

So Donny has now canned CDC Chief Susan Monarez after barely a month on the job. Her crime? Mistaking the “Centers for Disease Control” for anything other than the “Centers for Don’s Control.” Because the orders being given were flying in the face of science, and she dared push back.

Monarez, unlike most who’ve been steamrolled by this regime, isn’t slinking away quietly. She’s challenging the legality of her dismissal — though in Donny’s America, the law is optional and loyalty is mandatory. Gravity might as well apply only when The Don says so.

The reaction inside the CDC was telling. Hundreds of staff lined the sidewalks to clap her out — not in celebration, but in mourning. The so-called farewell looked more like a funeral procession for evidence-based science.

Meanwhile, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — a man who spends more time attacking vaccines than viruses — continues to turn HHS into a breeding ground for conspiracy and quackery. He’s essentially a lobbyist for measles masquerading as a cabinet secretary.

The Don’s message could not be clearer:

If the data doesn’t flatter him, you’re gone.

If the science contradicts his ego, the science loses.

If you don’t turn an epidemiological crisis into a PR victory, you’re out the door before your ID badge warms up.

The CDC is supposed to fight epidemics. Under Donny, its biggest outbreak is political meddling. And once again, the public pays the price for a president who treats public health as just another loyalty test.

Mass Walk Out

Dozens of employees at the CDC staged a walkout in protest, joining supporters in a protest of changes made to the agency under the leadership of sewer clown and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, a man who couldn't tell you his ass from his elbow.

Since Donny returned to the White House and appointed RFKlown, the CDC and other public health agencies have seen staff firings and layoffs, policy changes that are outright dangerous, and even violence directed toward public health workers.

This is how you thank Donny for his "Leadership".

Louisiana’s New “Voting Rights Act”: Democracy, but Make It Suppression

In a masterclass of Orwellian branding, Louisiana Republicans have introduced their very own Voting Rights Act — and by “rights,” they of course mean “restrictions.” This isn’t about protecting democracy; it’s about suffocating it. Think of it as the GOP’s latest attempt to make voter suppression not just a tactic, but a fine art.

The brilliance (read: cynicism) of this little stunt lies in the Supreme Court. Thanks to their recent redistricting decisions, which basically neutered the real Voting Rights Act, the GOP now has a shiny green light to gerrymander to their hearts’ content. Challenge it in court? Good luck — the same justices who’ve been handing Donny every authoritarian tool he dreams of are ready to stamp “approved” on the GOP’s maps faster than Don Jr. can sniff his way through a green room.

And Donny? Silent, of course. Why wouldn’t he be? He’s probably too busy cheating at golf or rage-posting about DEMOCRAT HOAXES files to care about democracy. Besides, the Louisiana GOP is doing exactly what he’d want: ensuring elections are rigged long before the first ballot is even cast.

This is the Republican playbook boiled down to its essence: redraw, restrict, repeat. Strip power from communities of color, silence dissent, and call it “reform.” And the cherry on top? Slap “Voting Rights” on the cover so it sounds like progress. It’s the political equivalent of arsonists calling themselves firefighters.

So here we are: democracy dismantled one district at a time, with the Supreme Court as the GOP’s loyal cleanup crew. Bravo, gentlemen, bravo. If nothing else, at least you’re consistent — consistently contemptuous of fair elections, equal representation, and the idea that democracy should actually mean something.
