Day 218: Donny's Delusions: Fat Shaming, Magnet Mayhem, and Militarized Madness

US President and Athlete Donald Trump Attacks Governer Pritzker for his Weight

What do you see when you take a look at this fine statuesque figure:

A man in his prime. Someone within a healthy BMI and with no concerns for his waist perhaps?

Or, do you see a morbidly obese monster?

Maybe this is like one of those Internet memes where you can see two versions. Personally I see the monster.

So it's jaw dropping that Fat Don decides to use personal attacks on Illinois Governor Pritzker specifically because of his weight. Donny said Monday in the Oval Office that the Illinois governor:

This isn't the first time Donny has gone after Pritzker for his weight. During a 2024 Ohio campaign rally, he accused him of being “too busy eating” to lead his state.

I mean there's pot calling the kettle black and then there's this. Donny is visibly obese. Has he ever looked in the mirror?

Unsurprisingly, Pritzker has hit back, of course with better wit and class:

He added. “He’s the kind of bully that throws invectives at people, because he knows that what he’s saying is actually commentary on himself.”

All of this is following Donny's threats of unleashing the National Guard on more blue states - that neither want nor need it.

And of course he's exactly right. This whole pointless show of force is all part of Donny's awful attempt at an authoritarian display - a dress rehearsal for when he tries to steal the midterms through intimidation.

Donny's Latest Incoherent Babble Over Magnets

Donny has a bit of a history when it comes to his fascination with magnets. The dumbass once claimed that they no longer work when wet:

This is of course utter bollocks. Magnets work just fine underwater.

Well today he was at it again, chuntering on incoherently with his magnet obsession when South Korean president Lee Jae Myung visited the White House:

"China intelligently went and they sort of took a monopoly of the world’s magnets and nobody needed magnets until they convinced everybody twenty years ago, “Let’s all do magnets.” There were many other ways that the world could have done, but so for it’ll take us probably a year to have them. We’re heavy into the world of magnets now only from a national security standpoint."

What drivel is this? Now the GOP will all be nodding along in agreement that this is now the offical version of events - magnets just weren't a thing until around 2005, when China mysteriously managed to persuade the world we should all use them.

How is the media reporting on this? Are we seeing headlines of Donny's obvious mental decline? I'd like to see:

"TRUMP'S DEMENTIA ON FULL DISPLAY ON WHITE HOUSE MEETING"

or maybe even:

"DEMENTED SIMPLETON TALKS SHITE FOR AN HOUR"

I'd even settle for:

"Trump has completely lost his mind".

These headlines could be applied to almost any daily event in the last six-months, but we've seen nothing like that. And this is no exception. Instead we see sane washing:

"Trump threatens new China tariffs over magnets"

I mean yes - he did that too - he threatened some new outlandish figure as TACO is prone to do, but it's almost irrelevant at this stage.

Here we have the President of the United States who can't hold a thought in his head.

As every world leader now has to endure this madness with a straight face whenever they visit. Hopes of any serious discussion are surely nothing more than wishful thinking.

Deployment of Armed National Guard Troops in Washington, DC

Donny has escalated his authoritarian grip on Washington, DC, by deploying National Guard troops armed with M17 pistols and M4 rifles.

With his usual mix of delusion and self-aggrandizement, Donny declared there’s “NO CRIME AND NO MURDER IN DC!” — as if utter nonsense magically becomes true when he shouts it loud enough. The reality is simpler: he’s fabricating a crisis to justify a military occupation of America’s capital.

And he’s not stopping there. Donny floated sending armed troops to Baltimore too — a city that’s seen a major drop in gun violence. Translation: this isn’t about safety; it’s about optics, intimidation, and showing Democrats that their cities are his to invade whenever he pleases.

This is authoritarian cosplay with live ammo. Troops may be told to use force “only as a last resort,” but the very presence of soldiers with assault rifles on city streets is the point — a chilling show of power designed to normalize the militarization of civilian life.

Residents are confused, angry, and protesting. But for Donny, that’s just part of the show. Every dissenting voice is fuel for his narrative of “lawless cities” — even when the data says otherwise.

This isn’t about crime. It’s about control. Donny’s DC deployment is one more step in the slow-motion coup against democracy, with the military cast as his personal security detail.

Donny Gets Himself. Police Badge

As Donny is a man child and easily impressed, he was today gifted an honorary U.S. Marshals badge at his executive order press conference, once again displaying how easily impressed he is by meaningless gifts.

Donny was probably flashing it everywhere believing himself to be law enforcement now.

An honorary service badge is something law enforcement officials hand out to just about anyone, even children. It doesn’t take much to flatter the Mad King.
