Liberation Day – A Tremendous Move!

Dear Diary, April 2, 2025—what a day! I declared it 'Liberation Day'! The BEST day. Signed Executive Order 14257, imposing a MASSIVE 10% tariff on imports—everyone's talking about it! But only the losers (and the Democrats) think it’s bad!
We had to do something about trade deficits, folks. I mean, China and others are laughing at us while we were basically giving away our money. Now, BIG countries like 57 of them—count 'em—will face higher 'reciprocal' tariffs. It’s a national emergency, and I’m the one handling it! HUGE moves!
Of course, the fake news media is going wild! They call it a 'global stock market crash.' So sad! But look, it's all part of my genius plan to make America GREAT again!
They say my calculations are flawed—FLAWED! What do they know? Critics are just jealous because they know I'm the best trade negotiator ever, probably in the history of the world!
Now, these so-called 'retaliatory measures' from other countries? MEH! Just more proof that they can’t handle the heat.
And listen to this: some people are even saying it’s a threat to democracy! Can you believe it? The Democrats are scared, and they should be! I’m not controlling the economy; I’m SAVING it!
They want to call me authoritarian? NO WAY! We are making deals and keeping America strong, folks! While Biden and the Democrats are there, sleeping—what a disaster! They can’t even spell ‘tariff’ right! SAD!
