Dressed up as a commemoration of 250th anniversary of the US army, coinciding with Donny's 79th birthday, Donny held a special military parade that dictators are typically so fond of. Isn't he a big boy.

What did US tax dollars get for this? Fuck all. It was a total washout. Donny's worst fear of low crowds of course was realised with empty stands, and a completely underwhelming and wasteful display of force and authoritarianism.

When Donny came on stage for his birthday speech, the US Army band played “God Save The King”, I shit you not. Surely a dig at the 2000 protests happening today.

Of course, as it was really all for Donny, it was for sale and littered with sponsorship promotions. It was an abject failure.
