What happens when two billionaire entitled men-children, with giant inflated egos, and an unquenchable thirst for more power and wealth become best buddies?
This is what we’ve borne witness to with the Donny and Ego Musk bromance. Who could have predicted that they’d eventually fall out? Oh wait, everyone. And everyone has pissed themselves laughing over it now that it’s finally happened. In full view, publicly documented on their shitty social networks, no less.
Elon, the special boy that he is, bought twitter in 2022. In an early preview of his DODGE efforts, in taking over Twitter, he promptly fired everyone, turned it into a right-wing echo chamber and massively devalued it. Owning his own social network he has now had a probable drug-fuelled nuclear meltdown on it to his 220 million followers.
Donny, after being expelled from twitter in 2021 after he incited an insurrection decided to build himself his own social network, laughably named Truth Social and populated only by MAGA cultists. Donny regularly spews his toxic stream of consciousness on to it.
So with each of the billionaire children having their very own social network, they documented the whole fallout for everyone to see. Elon, probably off his face, in particular went full nuclear.
It started a few days ago with the Führer of Mars daring to break the first rule of Donny club and spoke out against his ‘Big Beautiful Bill’, calling it an abomination.
The Tesla Tyrant, isn’t actually saying the real reason why he hates this bill so much; that it will end the government subsidies for EVs that he’s enjoyed for so long.
Donny, remarkably, also actually showed some rare restraint at the initial slight. But Elon wasn’t done and continued his twitter/x tantrum... resulting in the best news day all year.

HAHAHAHAHA. Said Everyone. It’s a good read, every tweet/truth is a gem. There’s a few standout parts though:
- Ego Musk thinks that the Epstein claim is a bombshell… I mean duh… interesting also that you presumably knew this all along and had no problem with it.
- Musk thinks we should create a new ‘centrist party’. Does he actually think his politics are in the center? Jesus christ you deluded fuck

But why has Donny’s shitty signature bill really upset Elon so much? There are a few options:
- Elon, misguided though he is, was sincere in his intentions to lower the deficit and his outburst is a true reflection of his feelings over the bill which will add $2.1 trillion to it. It also completely undermines the piddling savings DODGE actually made at enormous personal cost to people’s livelihoods and the world’s poorest.
- Donny shat on him, as he was always going to do, by removing the government EV subsidies that would damage his already struggling business. Elon threw his toys out the pram in response.
- Finally realising that his primary customer base have no interest in buying products from the leader of a brand that promotes far right politics, Elon thought it might be good to put some distance between himself and Donny. The whole thing is just a stunt.
As much as I’d like to believe 3,I think it’s improbable. Elon’s outburst was so spectacular that I can’t see how that can legitimately just be a stunt. He’s also too far up his own ass to really comprehend that his views are actually horrendous and completely off kilter from those of what formed his core customer base.
So it’s more likely that it’s a combination of 1 and 2. The Mars baby didn’t spend a quarter of a million getting a king elected without wanting something in return. The EV shun just blew his entitled mind. For once, Donny actually seems half-reasonable and measured in comparison, and I resent that I’m being made to make a concession like that.
So how are MAGA cultists dealing with this conflict? Their two heroes, that they’ve spent months defending every transgression, every assault and misstep straight faced and with genuine enthusiasm, suddenly fighting like children in the playground?
This fallout is presumably blowing up what little remains of their brains. Ultimately in a tie, they’re all loyal to Donny. Because “Everyone hates Elon”.
Donny, an obvious demented cretin, holds some bizarre power over his cult following that I readily admit I simply do not understand. So Elon is out in the cold, probably for good. This has to be a win… so we should all take some solace in that and take today as win.
UPDATE June, 11: Elon has had to make an embarrassing climb down in attempt to gain favor. Donny doesn't give a shit Elon - you’ve served your purpose, and now, you almost certainly will lose the privileges given to you, because Donny is as corrupt as hell.
